phantom brave. and i got every other of there game relesese in america. until puchi puchi and cross edge whice will be sweet or at least hope it is.

Atelier Iris 1 was my first.
The style was authentic I thought so I keep following the series until now.

It was probably the triumvirate of Disgaea, Phantom Brave, and La Pucelle Tactics, bought fairly close together when I first got my PS2 in 2004. I traded in a bunch of DVDs at Blockbuster for $8 a pop, so I had a lot of store credit. I got the PS2, and went around to all the Game Rush stores and tried to find the good games.

I am counting all 3 as NIS... I collect Atlus games as well, but for Disgaea, they just published it.

Mine was technically Disgaea because someone forced me to play for like 20 minutes(and I had to leave- and didn't get/find a copy for literally 5 years) but I would really say Phantom Brave since its the first one I played through emoticon
