What’s your Favorite Game EVER?
Yeah, like it says your favorite game EVER. [Excluding Nippon Ichi games, because I know everyone would post about Disgaea, but if one of them is truly your favorite… then go ahead and post anyway, but include another game that is not a Nippon Ichi game] Mine is definitely Skies of Arcadia on Dreamcast (also on Gamecube, but the audio is a little distorted in that version) so there’s that. Aside from NIS games? I really, really dunno. It could be any number of games. More than likely though, it'll either be Suikoden 1 or Final Fantasy Tactics.

Hey, hey I said ONE. Oh whatever... and Daveroast I said you can post your favorite Nippon Ichi games as long as you ALSO post another non-Nippon Ichi game.

Wild ARMs 2nd Ignition

RPG's are fine but these games are the most that stick out for me.
My top five:
5. Halo/Xbox : The only shooting game with an actual enjoyable multiplayer mode and Co-op mode.
4. Makai Kingdom/Ps2 : The only Nisa game that I fully beat.(secerts,endings)
3. Megaman X5/PS1: The first Megamanx game I bought and beat with both characters.
2. Ninja Gaiden 3/Nes : The only ninja gaiden game of the seris that I beat! XD (see a pattern?)
1. Phantom Brave/Ps2 : YES A NISA GAME IS MY NUMBER ONE. I enjoyed, no I STILL enjoy playing Phantom Brave out of the rest of the nis games. I didn't care about the sappy story, the main fun part of the game was fusing. Fusing your weapons to make it stronger, going into random dungeons to find skills and stronger weapons, and using the skills aquired to fight! That was the best part of the game! Hell, I played Disgaea but later got bored of transmigrating, because it was a slow repetitive cycle. In phantom Brave, there was no need to transmigrate (but you could), you just go to any random dungeons and level up there, FASTER.
Best.Game.Ever.(for me.)

Yeah I have to agree with you there. Phantom Brave is my favorite Nippon Ichi game so far, but I LIKED THE STORY it was very deep and emotional, which is why I love Nippon Ichi games so much anyway. And I forgot to mention Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits as one of my favorites, if not for that game I probably would have not got into Strategy/RPGs and while some will argue that it’s not a Strategy/RPG if they really think about it, it is…

Yeah, me too. I'd rather have a game and be blissfully ignorant of the censorship or be forced to look up the original than not play it at all or not understand because it's in Japanese and I can't translate kanji very well.
For non NIS games, I'd have to say Wild ARMs 3. The story is confusing at some points, but it's got really sweet moments. Plus, a girl is the main chara like in La Pucelle and she grows and matures throughout the story.

But aside from N1 games, my favorites include, but are not limited to...
Secret of Evermore, Brave Fencer Musashi, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Chrono Trigger, Half-Life, Counter-Strike Source, Tetris Attack, Final Fantasy Tactics, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber, Half-Life 2 with Garry's Mod (coolest mod ever!), Super Metroid, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Megaman Legends...
As you can see, I'm all over the spectrum.
Oh and one more thing... EARTHBOUND!!!
