Final Fantasy III for the Super Nintendo (to Puritans out there insisting that it's VI: I still have the poster that came with the game on my wall).
Crono Trigger was great too. Maybe I'll be different and add the Dungeon Keeper games to my list

Nothin' Compared to This...
Super Mario RPG : Legend of the Seven Stars was the best RPG I have ever played. There was no other active turn based system at the time other than Super Mario RPG! This game had "timed attacks" and "timed defense"! What other game had this at the time? None other than Super Mario RPG : Legend of the Seven Stars. I think I've said Super Mario RPG too many times, but it's the greatest, and I still own the game to this day.

My favourite ever? The original Sonic the Hedgehog. I played it 10 years ago and I'm surprised I'm still playing it today. It trully is a classic.

Wow! Favorite game ever huh? I'd have got go with Xenogears. It had the best story, music, and graphics for its time. Just talking about it makes me want to go back and play it again.

Xenogears has got to be one of the best video game I've played too. I heard that it was so religiously related, that some church actually attempted to ban the game itself from the shelves of stores! All that for one game...

There's way too many games I love.
Since I'll just list my top five, so I have no idea what the rest of my list may be:
1. Final Fantasy VII
2. Xenogears
3. Final Fantasy IX
4. Secret of Mana
5. Chrono Trigger
Kingdom Hearts II may push CT off, since I enjoyed that game when I beat it. I absolutely love the Atelier Iris games, but I'm not really sure where I rank them yet. For sure, my two favorite games have stayed the same for a very long time.
