I'm sure a few others titles can slip in and out of this list but these are the ones I know I've dumped a good ammount of time into and still have a copy of (and still toss in and play ^^)

There are alot of good games, most of which are old school, but for my all time #1 pick, I have to go with Dragon Quest 3 on the "NES"(not the crappy remake).
I'll list alot of great games that come in after DQ 3.
Every FF game from 1, though 7(yes I've even played all the Japanese only FF games).
DQ 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7 were all great(DQ 5 didn't even feel like a DQ game, and DQ 1 was great when it first came out, although after playing DQ 2, 3, and FF 1, I highly doubt you would ever play DQ 1 again).
Crono Trigger
Breath of Fire 1, 2, and 3 were great(after that, BoF turned into more new school crap sigh).
Tactics Ogre Battle... Scratch that, anything with Ogre in the name, was great.
DQM 1, and 2 were great(the DS DQM sucks, becuase Square changed everything in the game, that made the spin off series so great).
Crystalis
Disgaea 1, and 2
Final Fantasy Tactics(PS1)
Marvel Vs Capcom 2
Street Fighter 3X
FF Legend 2
Wizzardry 1, 2, and (either 5 or 6, forgot which one it is).
Secret of Mana, and Secret of evermore(although short, they were very good).
7th Saga(I wish the rom hackers would finally finnish making a tranlated patch for, 7th Saga Mystic Ark).
exc,exc,exc,exc. I can go on for hours listing more games.
PS. I haven't finnished the game yet, but unless NIS dropped the ball with the second half of the game, Mana Khermia is bound for the list as well.
