Do you DS?
Anyone own a DS other than me? So far I've got Metroid Hunters, Animal Crossing and Princess Peach (SHUSH! Its a GREAT PLatformer... )
I'm going to go for Mariokart DS and Zookeeper sometime soon as well....
Anyone else around? I can add you to my friends list and we can WAAAAAAAAAAR
::grins:: I'm a big nerd, so I've been really pounding away on my AC:WW (Animal Crossing : Wild World) But, I refuse to change the time/calender because I want to do it without cheating ::snickers:: How silly is that?
So come on... Who else is a DS'er? ITS BEST TO PLAY TOGETHER!

Re: Do you DS?
Metroid Prime Hunters is an amazing online connectivity game. I prefer my DS to the PSP also...
But, AC:WW Is awesome. I loved the original Animal Crossing, so I'm obviously going to like another in the series.
Lost Magic is coming out also... It promises to be very interesting, I'm looking forward to it. It comes out in a little over two weeks.

Re: Do you DS?
I do plan to get a ds, but I'm patiently waiting for the lite to release here. I was almost tempted to buy one for my birthday, but got a PSP instead (Maverick Hunter X is awsome!). Anyways, until lite comes out; I'm clean from a ds.

Yeah, that's the one I might get. What I'm waiting for, though, is an MMORPG on my DS. It will happen eventually, and although it may not be as complex or deep as something found on PC, I think something similar to what we saw with Phantasy Star Online will be coming out, eventually.

Meh... I was originally interested in this game when it was in development, but after seeing more and more stuff about it, I think I'll wait till it goes down in price. Contact is the DS game I'm hyped for!

Re: Do you DS?
I was totally gonna wait until a DS Lite came out... Then I got my hands on a DS Lite that a friend imported...
I hated the plastic and it was too small for my hands. (I have monster piano finger hands mind you, not normal by any standards save basketball players and pianists.)
The plastic was like the iPOD and I personally hate iPOD's or anything that strives to be like their trendy nonesense.
I ended up getting a DS, because it fit my hands better, although it was still a bit small. (I can't play a GBA SP very well, just to give an idea I can play it one handed, with my palm on the back and my thumb/forefinger wrapped around to the D-pad and the face buttons...)
I'm still looking forward to Lost Magic, because I figure I'll give it a try. It seems like at least an innovative idea... And Contact 3 is going to be AWESOME! WOOTAGE!
Speaking of the MMORPG, I can totally see that happening with the DS, mainly because of the touch screen (It'd be easier to do some things that would be monotonous on the PSP) factor. I would love to see a Phantasy star online type game, or even an RO type game... Hell, I'd settle for a Maple Story type game.
What I'd really like to see, is something like Disgaea, or any other NIS SRPG to go live on the DS. That would make my day... I still wonder why they decided to go sony only... I hope they'll rethink that with the Revolution and the DS, I think these two platforms would be some of the the greatest outlets to their niche market.

Re: Do you DS?
I just ordered a DS Lite from Japan along with Seiken Densetsu Children of Mana. I've been contemplating buying one for a while now and CoM was a good boost to get me to finally take the plunge. It also helped that the place I ordered CoM from had it on sale for $20 (http://www.play-asia.com). I'm really looking forward to the Opera web browser for the DS, as that will be the ultimate portable app. I use Opera primarily on all my PCs so it'd be great to have it on a handheld, and with a stylus... yay!
I have a friend who also ordered Children of mana so i'll be able to play it multiplayer, which should be cool.
I've had a PSP for a while and I love it, but I guess it doesnt hurt to have both

Re: Do you DS?
I was thinking about importing the DS, but I guess it doesn't run through my mind a lot. It's safe since the games or the DS for that matter don't have a regional code, which I thought was pretty cool. Maybe I'll end up importing one afterall...
