I've had my DS Lite for about a month now and I love it. Children of Mana is incredibly awesome, as well as some other games like Feel the Magic and Kirby. I also just received the Xenosaga 1 and 2 compilation in the mail, but i'm having some trouble figuring out the tutorial (havent given it much play yet).
I look forward to the Opera browser quite a bit, as it's the browser I use already on my PCs. I still havent found a DS game that's quite as addicting as Lumines or DJ Max (PSP games). Meteos is by the same creators as Lumines, but it pales in comparison (in my opinion).

The puzzle game that keeps me coming back on the DS Is Zoo Keeper... God I love that little bastich....
I am also playing Lost Magic pretty obsessively, I really love that little cartridge.

Same. I bought a DS around December 2005, while getting a PSP a month ago. IMO, I definitely prefer the PSP over the DS; however, I do really like both. The DS does have a few games I like, but many of the games don't appeal to me much (partially because I'm not really into Nintendo's first party games much). The PSP appeals to me very well, although I do wish it had more good RPGs at the moment (Along with that, I truly like most of Sony's first party games). Personally, I prefer a wide screen (better than all the TV's I own) compared to dual screens. I already own twice the amount of PSP as DS games, despite having the DS longer, and I'm still far from having every PSP game I want.
I considered a DS Lite, because it fixes my two biggest gripes with DS (like the dark screen and being bulky), but I don't really want to get it since Nintendo has burned me over way too many times with handhelds (Going from Gameboy, Gameboy in multiple colors, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Pocket in multiple colors, Gameboy Color, GBA, GBA SP, GBA Micro, NDS, NDS Lite) where I buy one, but then they release a better one in less than a year, causing me to regret my previous purchase. I don't hate any of their handhelds, just got tired of constantly having to upgrade.

I'm loving my DS! Best purchase made, ever... and Metroid Prime Hunters is for the win! I love this little thing, and I can't wait for the web browser either... everything I need will be on that little thing!
