I'm kinda pissed that I heard in Japan they cut off Inu Yasha's anime, and so it doesn't really end. That's kind of a downer that they ended the anime before it really ends.

Heh... I wish I could get Inu Yasha mangas. emoticon I'm too poor to buy them, and haven't well ... <_< >_> ...ahem, "found some nice person whom I know not necessarily at all" who is kinda enough to share them with me.

And my lord, I loved Ranma 1/2. I've read everything I've got like 10 times now.

So a question here...
Does anyone know the manga (or anime) Slam dunk?

I´m not really a sportmanganerd (or a fan of sports anyway emoticon ), but I like the art of this manga, and kinda that weird humour (I was laughing about of 2 hours , as the main character jumps for adunk and whoa the pictures looked like bullet time in matrix, and what happend after that? The next panel he hits his forehead pretty badly at the basket! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
This three pages where the best in my mangalibary (approx. 150 books)

But.. here in europe the cancelled the series after twoo books. emoticon emoticon
After that three years later they restartet the series again! Yay!! emoticon emoticon

...to finally cancel it after 8 novels!
emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

This is really %&§$$§"§"§!

Why are only the good ones released in the staates, and only the megasellers are considered to be launched here?
And in 7 of 10 cases, this megasellers are nothing worth buying for me!
Bah, now, after this rethinking about this situation, i´m kinda depressed! emoticon

In all honesty, you should probably take that up with the publishers. Send them a letter asking them to pick up more series. Get a petition (even though they rarely work) and get as many signatures as you can to show support for more titles. Just a few ideas.

And no, I've personally never even looked at Slam Dunk. I've always passed it over because I never care for sports or sports anime/manga, but I'll definitely flip through it the next time I see it.

There's also an anime for Slam Dunk (or an OVA collection) if I'm not mistaken.

Also, I recently read some of a new manga that just came out in Japan (although fanslated) called Naruto. Its a pretty good series and seems to building its story very well. Considering its taking like 237 chapters (or about 25 to 27 volumes) to reach the end of Part One.

You are right, but I have called them three times, and send them some mails (even pounce..persuaded some of my friends to do so, but it doesn´t help at all.

So let me say this, I am no child anymore, and I know what is going on on the market, and it all goes for selling money...
but why must the best mangas always be released from the smallest and (not-trustable) Publisher here?
There are two major-labels here, and Tokyopop US has recently opened a branch here in our country, but this special Label is very unstable(and ?unrelieable?) when it comes to new releases. emoticon
Only thinking about full metal panic (which is also released from this so-called publisher here) makes my head ?ache?

emoticon emoticon So I don´t want to make new enemyies, but...in our country there are about six novels of naruto out in store!emoticon emoticon
This is kinda good stuff, although some of my friends HATE it really much, becouse thy think it is a bad Dragonballclone.emoticon I will not comment this any further...

That's too bad, I hope they decide to pick up the pace soon.

Six eh? Volume 5 was just recently released here. I haven't actually gotten around to reading it though. The bookstores near where I live are pretty bad about carrying manga so I just recently ordered about 10 of them off of the internet and haven't gotten around to reading them all.

I have too many favorite anime and manga, I can't count or name ALL of them so I'll leave that task alone. emoticon

Right now, I'm trying to find out more about Dotto Koni-chan. But until further notice, I'm currently in "Chrono Crusade" mode. I own the first volume, now all I gotta do is get the anime on dvd! Hahaha! In New Jersey, we get an awfully great portion of anime/manga. *Hugs Best Buy and Suncoast*
