Fighter Male! Not only is he strategically useful - but he's a manly upgraded version of his adorable Disgaea self! My current leader in the 3rd round of playthrough - a Makai Brave!

Healer. I plan though to Transmigrate my Wooden Doll into an Officer when I unlock the last form & get the Mana and make her the leader; she'd be a mallet-wielding parody of my Muse.

The default healer.
I figure if I'm a cruel leader who enjoys pounding the crap out of my minions I'm best off with a leader that won't incapictate my entire army. That can get very expensive.

Female Warrior

She was much more useful then the male because of her rapier skill which allowed her to get off killing blows more easily then the warrior.

Additionally since she was the leader in the Manga I just had to choose her.
