Capturing/Creating/Developing Facilities
Here's another topic the manual doesn't really cover: how to get facilities. So, how DO you make facilities?
I've tried capturing my enemies facilities through a number of different methods: destroying the enemy facility, having my character "lift" it and hold it over the head before ending the battle, thus holding the facility at the end of battle, having my character occupy the facility at the end of battle, and even throwing the facility out-of-bounds, e.g., off of the battlefield map. Doing none of these things has seemed to earn me that enemy facility...
This leaves me really concerned: just how do you get facilities? At this point, the only three I have are those I got at the very beginning of the game: Dog House, Shop, and Hospital.
I keep seeing other facilities: Raider Hut, Fortress, Command Center, Super Fortress, Laboratory, Factory, and Clock Tower. Those of course, I can only imagine are just a fraction of how many must be in the game altogether. The manual also mentions a "School" in its facility coverage (oh wow, there's something that was actually in the manual).

You have to make a wish on a non-leader character for a new facility. Unless you character is a fairly high level, they will die when you do it. You'll have to reincarnate them afterwards. The facility is the same level as the character you made the wish on and different jobs will allow for different facility creations.

Wow, thanks! Just what I needed to know!
No wonder I never saw that option; I just kept trying to make wishes using my leader.
Here are some of the facilities, and the characters you need to use to make them:
Hospital: Healer, Medic
Shop: Merchant
Academy: Any Character (EXP+50%!)
Library: Magician, Witch (Weapon Mastery+50%!)
Graveyard: Thief (Damage Recovery 10%)
Command Center: Warrior, Ronin (DEF+40%)
Fortress: Warrior, Ronin (ATK+40%)
Super Fortress: Ronin (DEF+50%)
Castle: Ronin (ATK+40%)
Factory: Mechanic (Vehicle HP Heal 10%)
Laboratory: Professor (TEC+20%)
I, of course, have yet to discover all character classes, so I don't know what Cooks, Berserkers, Archers, or Officers can create. I don't believe the Infantry can create Command Centers or Fortresses, which doesn't make sense; they are soldier-class characters.

Cooks can create Food Dungeons, which will be very helpful when you start doing food dungeons for post-game leveling. All I've ever really needed though was a castle, 3 academies, a library, and 3 food markets.
