Help with party consolidation
Hi all, finally decided to "really" play MK. I'm only on chapter 5, but my penchant for creating characters has left me with too many! Suggestions for eliminating a couple of these?
FIGHTERS
'Rayje' - Male Fighter (axe)
'Yotsuba' - Female Fighter (sword)
'Utena' - Female Fighter (rapier)
'Baiken' - Female Samurai (katana)
RANGED
'Henrietta' - Archer (rifle, progressive)
'Rico' - Archer (rifle, sniping)
'Watanuki' - Professor (bazooka)
MAGIC
'Anastasia' - Healer (book)
'Aria' - Witch (book)
NONCOMBAT SUPPORT
'Momo' - Merchant (bazooka)
'Evangeline' (McDowell) - Professor (none)
'BM' (Bottlemail) - Thief
'Vega' - Engineer
VEHICLES
Dark Runner Z2 (24)
RX66 Helldam (23)
WarCry 01 (18)
Driller G (15)
---
I have a fairly aggressive playstyle and favor mobility over defense. I rarely use(d) vehicles as I never have enough material to purchase the good equipment.
Any suggestions welcome. What are your favorite (non-story-character) party compositions?

Re: Help with party consolidation
Keep with the Mage characters and a few of the fighters. I'd not worry too much about the noncombatants, though the Merchant levels do affect the shop (Reincarnate her to her top form and level her up through summoning a building and letting her steal EXP)

Re: Help with party consolidation
Well, if you really must stick with your agressive/mobile style of playing, you should keep your female Samurai and female Fighter (Sword) because females tend to be faster, and Sword skills are indeed quite strong (ie. Zodiac, Darkness Falls). You will most likely need to keep your two magicians, both for offensive support and healing, and you might need a buffer Healer (Healer with all boost skills) to make your offensive units stronger during battle. You WILL need to balance that out with a bit of defense, or the stronger enemies will rip you to pieces, if your main attacks don't kill it in the first go. I know that from experience.
