beginning of chapter 9
At the beginning of chapter 9 during bofore it goes to Holt Village the screen is completly black except for the first letter it says down where the text box would be. Does this happen on all copies or is it just mine.

Must be your copy friend for I have yet to get that kind of problem.
As far a Glitching goes I once in a great while get the freezing screen deal while in item world. This is most likely the hardwares fault. It seems that I had that problem with the first Disgea as well and other RPG's. Oh does this glitch ever piss me off on occasion.
Then again this is my second Playstation 2 to and I still have seen this occur.
