Hecks yes, this is actually why I just created an account, to see if this was being asked for.
I loved Disgaea on the PS2, but I no longer have a working one (and my PS3 is a non-backwards-compatible 40GB). I never got to play Disgaea 2. I continue to love Disgaea on PSP, and I'd love to play the second.
Please, NIS!

Pram´s Wishlist, some time ago, has all the wishes deleted but the aproveds; and then, 100 or more people sign.

I would happily buy Disgaea 2 on DS.
Noting, of course, that in the US, Disgaea 1 DS has sold about the same as Disgaea 1 PSP... except that the PSP version has a year up on the DS version. Source is vgchartz; if you've got a better one, please offer it.
Not that you need sales numbers to explain this, of course, but additional content beats voice acting (though both would be nice). I am quite worried that Disgaea 2 PSP will do something braindead like have Mao show up as a monster and not be recruitable, only for NEXT year's DS version to sort of fix it, and I'll have effectively set fire to $40.
Use the bigger DS cart (Disgaea DS did not use the largest cart available) and don't worry about the graphics; D1DS's were good enough. It is my opinion, based on the evidence provided above, that this is the best solution for both the developer and consumer.

I prefer the PSP over the DS. I have a feeling, though, that a lot of the people that bought the PSP version of Disgaea also bought the DS version because of the small number of additions in the DS version. I like the screen better on the PSP, and the system is more comfortable for me to use for long periods of time.
Personally, I hadn't planned on buying the DS version of Disgaea, but I did anyway, because of Rosenqueen's bundle with Rhapsody. The right bundle might make me do so again if Disgaea 2 gets a DS release, but I'll likely get more play out of the game on the PSP than the DS, just as I have with the first game.

Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness was worth the time and the money, but it was a good think that there was a new, better training stage, to spare some time.
I guess the same would be nice here as well.
I will buy this one and if necessary, the US- release of Afternoon of Darkness as well [see Disgaea 2 PSP in Feedback for NIS America]
I will do so even if I have to beg or to donate blood to be able to afford it!
