More visual Novels Please!

Since the Announcement of Sakura Wars.
I've been thinking that it would be a great idea for NIS to start localizing more of these "clean (and unclean)" H games/Visual Novels/Dating Sims.

I'd love to see more titles like: Kiss on my Deity(360), School Days(PS2), When they Cry(DS/PS2), Chaos;Head(360), Clannad(360/PS2/PSP), Little Busters!(Ps2/PC)

That'd be pretty nice. Judging by the fact that they actually market their products and try to put them in known video game retailers, NISA would have a better chance of success in selling visual novels than Hirameki did.

License-rescuing Ever17 would be a great start.

However, if they intend to release School Days, I'd much rather have the "unclean" version for PC.

A couple years back at the AX 07 event, I asked that they look into dating sims. They must've thought I was nuts. Now we're getting probably the best in the genre, so be sure to pick that up. Maybe if it does well they'd be able to look into Hayarigami, Infinite Loop, etc...

Well, what do you know. The original Higurashi visual novel had beel licensed by MangaGamer and is due for an English release this year. It might not be the Matsuri version, but it's still a good start. I even heard on the Peach Princess boards that they managed to get the Shuffle! VN, too.

I'd love to see NISA follow suit with licenses of their own.

I've always wondered why NISA never brought the PS2 version of Eien no Aselia over. Nippon Ichi published it in Japan.

Description: http://www.mobygames.com/game/eien-no-aseria-kono-daichi-no-hate-de

Screenshots: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-43-49-en-70-2q6b.html

I played the original PC game (which is an erogee, btw), and it's one of my favorite ADV-style RPGs.

The team at Xuse that made Eien no Aselia and Seinarukana (the sequel) subsequently left Xuse and created the label "Eternal" under Will, a company that has a localization deal with Peach Princess / JAST USA. With luck we might someday see some of their games, which include Yumina the Ethereal and Nega 0.

By the way, think I've seen you around the PP boards grgspunk. I post there as Dark_Shiki.

Guys, honestly, don't get NISA mixed up with that sort of thing. While that would be nice, they have certain requirements when it comes to bringing games over.

While they could do the Disgaea VN, I doubt they're going to do any other franchise. This is simply not that sort of company. As mentioned, keep those games with MangaGamer, publishers specifically made for them. I'm not opposed to it, but I still wouldn't like it.

They might be a niche publishing house, but they're also pretty mainstream in terms of games, just like Atlus.

I'm just asking for more games like the ones from the Ar Tonelico and Sakura Wars series: RPGs with visual novel and dating sim elements.

Mm... "Unclean?"

That's not cool.

The Teen rating is as far as I go when buying games.

"Unclean" games are only released on PC, not consoles. Since NISA only localizes console games, this isn't an issue to begin with.
