Land of Carnage
Has anyone unlocked this yet?
I need the HUNTER" pirates but they wont show up. I know its random but I'm tired of seeing the same pirates for 80+ stages.

Re: Land of Carnage
Hunter Pirates was the 2nd batch of Pirates I defeated O_o;; A lot of people seem to have problems finding Jolly pirates though, so I commend you. I haven't unlocked this myself but I've only been playing for 2 weeks XD

Re: Land of Carnage
Is there anything that makes pirates appear more often? Or is it completely random?

Re: Land of Carnage
I just unlocked it earlier today as well. The last two pirates I needed were Red and Jolly. Ugh.
I'm at roughly 80 hours of gameplay now.

Re: Land of Carnage
When I get the time, I need to buckle down and do these. I got 9/16 maps just by messing around earning felonies. I have Ambling (but then again, who doesn't?), Prinny, Dancing, Monk, Orc, Jolly, Bashful, Wealthy, and Chicken maps so far. I really lucked out on the Jolly and Orc from what I hear.

Still holding my breath for the other Marl Kingdom games.

Re: Land of Carnage
I finally cleared through the story and beginning to go back to do the special areas. I've noticed that they tend to show up more if you have several maps equiped on someone, though i had to make a break for it from one, i somehow pulled a level 250 pirate on myself while trying to get to the dark court.

Re: Land of Carnage
Yes, you get a higher chance for Pirates to appear for each map you have equipped. The characters that hold the map don't even need to leave the Base Panel to recieve the bonus.
I comboed my Pirate Hunting with Felony Grabbing as well. I have roughly 200 felonies on all of my most used nine characters. The experience points should start flowing in now.

Re: Land of Carnage
Does anyone have an idea if the rank of the item or level of the enemies can influence the kind of pirates that appear? I only need to slaughter the Red Pirates before I can enter the land of Carnage.
I've taken out the Z Pirate at level 9,999 several times, and I've beat down the Ambling Pirate so often I've lost count. Frustrating is a euphemism.
