Well, I haven't noticed any staticans for items anymore so that is out. There is the Dark World which has some powerful monsters to beat around.

I've yet to open the Cave of Ordeal yet, that was the place that I leveled my characters in the last game. So I'm hoping it will produce again.

As for the battle itself. I'll take it on the same way I fought Baal in the orginal. Get a theif high enough level to steal his stuff. Then after that they'll be managable. Half their level should do the trick.

CoO4. Nuff' said. If stealing is necessary, use a Lv9999 Neko instead of a thief, it's far easier. After CoO4'ing to around level 900-ish, you can start smashing the higher ranked items in the Item World, such as rank 35+ Legendaries etc.

Each felony a character has is +1% EXP, capping (again) at +300%. Also, reincarnating as a Prinny will retain the EXP bonus from the felonies even though your character isn't labeled with them anymore.

Ho damn! That is awesome, but much more difficult then getting a 300 pt statician.

And nekos have a good steal chance as well? Didn't know that.

If you want to give the felonies to multiple characters at once, just throw a tower of people into the Dark Court gate. Each person in the tower will get the felony, so you can get the EXP bonus on multiple characters quickly.

EDIT: Forgot to mention. Since Baliffs are already subdued, you can transfer them between items. If you start working on a subpeona with say... a level 8 Baliff, leave after you enter the court, switch a level 12 Baliff into the item and go back in, you can enter the court again at the 12th floor without having to go through another subpeona from the first floor again.

Awesome advice, I'll make sure to use that.

Oh yeah, that means that you can send the baliff to another item. So instead of leveling up a useless subpoena you can be leveling an item you will use.

Early on, the highest granted felony you can get is like 4 from Excessive Damage (i.e. deal over 1000 damage). Based on my understanding the easiest way to grant characters 4 felonies is to take out 10 total characters and send 9 in (with the one who is being charged the one at the bottom) so the prinnies don't throw an innocent at you. Be sure you have one of the Exit items on you because you want to exit as soon as you get the felony so you can drop another baliff of a higher level into place. If you don't you could find yourself having to work your way to one of the item general levels just to get out.

Another thing to do is find the specialist that grants EXP bonuses per kill as well. Combined you can gain quite a lot just from visiting some of the higher level maps such as treasure maps and so on.

The Nekos can't steal since their monster classes I think. You need a thief to steal most of the time since they have a higher chance. Thiefs are godsends if you find yourself in a pinch. Sleep/poison and run away ^^; Its a cheap tactic but if you find yourself pissing a yellow character off by accident (i.e. piss off a level 1000-5000 when you're like only level 50 or something) this and tink running to the far end of the map is like your only recourse from not having to restart.

Can you honestly get an innocent verdict? I've never had that happen.

Sure, send someone in who isn't the one being charged by themselves who hasn't earned the right and the prinnies will screw you over. I think as long as you send in the person being charged at the bottom you can get a guilty sentence. (say for example throw a level 1 character in when its for Too high attack or Excessive Force). I haven't tried it but I think I'll make a throw away character one time just to see what they'll do to you.
