So, would this be a localization of the PSP port of Generation of Chaos V? This renaming stuff for N.A. is starting to get confusing (like NES and SNES generation Final Fantasy confusing).

You're correct. But no worries! The official title for America is Aedis Eclipse: Generation of Chaos. So there won't be any numbering to worry about. Should make things easier.
