Re: The music of Ar Tonelico
Heh, I'm in a pretty urban area and have it blasting out the speakers when traffic is VERY slow or standstill on the way to/from work. I've gotten a few strange looks, two thumbs up, and people pacing with me, curious to what I'm blasting.
Eat that, rap music. :P
As far as favorite hymns, I like Phantasmagoria, Chronicle Key, and Linker the best.

Wow man. You've got some guts. You've gotta have some serious nerve to go outside and blare this music for the general public. But then again, I live in a town of old farts and teenagers who wouldn't understand this kind of music. But hey, it is cool that you got some thumbs. Mean they know what it is. I think I'll give it a try sometime. But only with the Aurica and Misha hyme battle themes. Those might be cool for some total stranger to that kind of music.

Re: The music of Ar Tonelico
Yeh, guts would be the best way of putting it. I'm not a stranger to blaring country at a gas station in a 'hooded up area or playing reggae in slow traffic with my window down. Whatever sounds good.
Too many people are ashamed to show what they like.

Re: The music of Ar Tonelico
I usually save my jazz and techno for urban cityscapes, and more pastoral stuff, like the Ar-Tonelico Hymnos, for out in the country.
Like I said before, it just has the awexome effect that makes it sound like it fills the world, when I have it blaring from my car stereo, when I'm driving a country road through a wide open field. It just synchornizes better with the rural atmosphere, while my jazz and techno synchronizes better with an urban atmosphere.

Re: The music of Ar Tonelico
That's great, but I only like "Suspend", "Purger"(Both Extracting),Re-Nation, and Linker...
Anyone like the song Phantasmgoria? (The ending song after Chapter 3.)

Re: The music of Ar Tonelico
Of course. Phantasmagoria is great.
But, I'd rather choose Chronicle Key and Rigveda the best. The second place is Purger of Misha. third is phantasmagoria.

Re: The music of Ar Tonelico
Psh. Aurica's purger theme is my fave. Shimotsuki Haruka ftw.
Chronicle Key is a close second, though.

Re: The music of Ar Tonelico
Well, Misha's Purger use rock guitars and Aurica's use some tinging musical instrument. But, I love Harmonious too... I love most of the hymn execept Rig=Veda and Linker. They're just lame...
