This is the webpage of popular voice actor Sandy Fox. Among her credits she lists Ar tonelico II.

Does this mean NISA has already recorded the voice acting for this game and are in fact going to bring the game to North America?

Uh oh. Looks like someone is going to get a phone call.

Was this voice actress in the original, as well? If she was, it could just be a typo. If she wasn't... well, chances are that she jumped the gun a bit. Good news if that's the case, but not really surprising, either.

  You guys keep saying "if" they bring it to America. There's no dout in my mind that they will. It's not "if" but rather "when". And "when" as in the sooner the better.

It'll be sweet if NIS releases the game shortly after the Japanese version......my PS2 will remain in my entertainment center until AR2 is completed!

If that's the case, it could be a typo, since she didn't credit herself in the original Ar Tonelico.

It's still an "if" question at this point. Depending on how the sales of Ar Tonelico were, it's entirely possible that NISA may want to pass on the sequel.

That's a pretty brutal typo there, Sanctine. She would have had to accidentally hit the spacebar and then hit the 'I' key not once, but twice. And having done so, she coincidentally typoed the title of the sequel?

What are you talking about? It's a common typo. The typist could have been thinking about Atelier Iris II when he/she typed Ar Tonelico, and put a II at the end.

People make mistakes like this all the time. It's not uncommon.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. Mostly because you have no evidence to back up the notion that people all of the time accidentally add in entire characters at the end for no reason and don't notice themselves doing it.

Anyway, back on topic: I'd understand it if we were talking about Final Fantasy and the mix up was over something like VI and VII, but that's not the case.

There's only one other Ar tonelico game, and if she did the VA for that it was before Ar tonelico II existed. How could she what you're claiming given these facts?

How are you supposed to provide evidence for something like that?

This isn't a conclusion. It's a theory.

Hell, Ar Tonelico II isn't even out yet in Japan, so I have a very hard time believing that NISA has already gone through the process of recording the English VO, but that's just me.
