Re: Ar Tonelico II problem
If you were saying that to me, I wasn't arguing that the audio was not cut, I was just pointing out that NISA's statement in the interview implying that the audio cuts would be minor was likely a poor choice of words on their part.
Though I wouldn't exclude the possibility that they might have been deliberately deceptive with that statement, considering that the official response about the Raki freeze phrases it as "increasing the difficulty" and pretends it's an issue with the PS2's memory rather than a bug that NISA introduced...
That and from the same interview, we're still waiting for a response from the translation editor about all the random name and Hymnos term changes, as well as the exceptionally sloppy job we can tell he did on the game in general now that we've played. I think our questions were 'directed to the editor' in the same way that the U.S. Congress sends bills to committee to die.

Re: Ar Tonelico II problem
I was trying to further your point and clarifying that the amount of audio cut was actually 55%; much greater than the 10% some have been misled to believe.

Re: Ar Tonelico II problem
The Raki bug is actually only the most obvious and easily reproducible crash that appears in this game due to the repeated encounters, but there are several ones I've pulled off, unintentionally the first time, then intentionally to prove it wasn't totally random.
Spoiler warnings!
On Luca's Gaea, in the "Treasure Grave" the location that is just chests you open, If you return after recieving the key from that location, it becomes possible to fight enemies in normal random encounters. There is a good chance of the background music dying entirely for no apparent reason while walking around this dungeon! If you enter a battle or you will crash the game partway into it.
Reproduced 2/10 times
There were a couple of random freezes during boss encounters, but I didn't write them down to remember, unfortunately. I'll get them on the second full play-through.
Random crash/freeze during the transition screen with the Ar tonelico II logo on the bottom right corner- numerous locations
The worst one was shortly after the animation sequence with Luka singing the Tower into existence from the top of the A.C.. Following the short scene following the clip it will auto transition back to the main map, but can lock up on the transition screen before getting there
Reproduction: 3/10 attempts
Leaving Enna mini-map to return to the main map. Totally random, but may have occurred because I was impatiently tapping the x button (which makes this a much more serious crash than it would be otherwise)
Reproduction: 1 time in the entire game (so far), but lots of chances to occur.
There are more, but I will add them As I encounter them
