Re: Phantom Kingdom announced for the PS2 platform
This is AWESOME news. I saw those screenshots, which I assume are from some early work of the game... and I already want it! I'm glad to see they're building on the PB engine.

Re: Phantom Kingdom announced for the PS2 platform
Sorry if I wasn't clear. I meant that I considered both PB and Disgaea to be turn-based. I just meant that I hope that Phantom Kingdom has the same turn-based aspect as PB....meaning that turns are based on Speed. I enjoyed that a lot more after playing with it than the "My turn, Your turn" type of turn base.....heheeh sorry for the confusion.

Nah, ya didn't confuse me. I was just saying that I saw it in a different light than you did =) On that note, I hope it's more like PB too. I rather like that you can completely out-speed your oppenent with enough work.

Still holding my breath for the other Marl Kingdom games.

Re: Phantom Kingdom announced for the PS2 platform
PB wasn't turn based. La Pucelle was.

Re: Phantom Kingdom announced for the PS2 platform
I was hoping it would be more speed based like PB as well, but i have read elsewhere that it is going to be team turn based like Disgaea. This was off of a translation from a japanese article so it may be just the translators interpretation, but that was what i read.

Re: Phantom Kingdom announced for the PS2 platform
this looks really cool from the details that I've heard. It sounds like a cross between disgaea and phantom brave, with a few extra innovations thrown in.

Re: Phantom Kingdom announced for the PS2 platform
I didn't really like the grid being gone in PB, I liked the grid with squares alot better it was less confusing, but unfortuatly for me, it looks like this game will be like PB in that aspect. Oh well, this still looks like a very cool game.
