Makai Kingdom Announced for the PS2 Platform!
Makai Kingdom, known as Phantom Kingdom in Japan will be released this summer in the United States! Additional information regarding the game will be available soon, so please look forward to it!

Wow, I'm really surprised that it's going to be out so soon. But I'm curious about the name change. Is that an attempt to separate it from Phantom Brave or what?

I'm going to go on a limb here and say that they changed the name to associate it more to "Makai Wars" the psp game? Since its more oriented towards Disgaea and "Netherworld" antics, I think the change seems decent.
Makai is the word we substitute "Netherworld" for. XD
I still hope there's Phantom Brave cameos in it, though.
