I know that, because those games are higher profile, and gamers are going to be more likely to hear the music, like the music, and want to buy it.
Unfortunately, I didn't find those soundtracks to be all that great out of context of the games,
and as far GTA, that's not an ORIGINAL soundtrack; that's all popular music taken from the era in which the game is based.
