Re: The good/bad of this game
The problem with defeating Uroborus is that you have to raise your Burst Gauge. A LOT.
Between the fact that Edge's Pyre Bunker, and maybe another one of his advanced moves, are about the only moves that can raise Burst quickly, and that Uroborus knocks out a lot of your Burst with his regular attacks, well, that makes it hard.
I lost...slowly...to Uroborus when I used Edge's Plua ninja Blades.
That final battle was a real test of survival and patience...just with having to build that Burst Gauge up so many times.
And let's not forget about healing!
Hmm, should I heal, or should I continue trying to raise that gauge, despite Uroborus's attacks...?

Re: The good/bad of this game
My strategy was to use Illusion Edge & a high hit count weapon for both him & Nell to charge the gauge. Iris heals every turn she needs to, using the Heal All spell, otherwise attack with a high hit count weapon. Burst mode -> spam Kobold Hero, Illusion Edge & Diemia Summon. Never let your skill gauge drop below 1 though, so you can always use Heal All to recover.
I was using armor that rendered Iris immune to fire & ice and Nell was immune to fire...so the dragons attacks bounced off them like bugs off my cars windshield. Only one of Uroborus' attacks did real heavy damage...that electric fist thing attack.

Re: The good/bad of this game
I finished the game a while ago, so here's what I remember...
Good : Side quests are great. Fusing with mana was cool.
Bad : The main story was lacking..... A LOT.

Re: The good/bad of this game
The PROBLEM when facing Uroborus is, that electric fist thing!! I just got unconscious (all of my party members)! I use the armor that make my party members immune to electricity damage, but Iris and Nell got unconscious when they got heavy damage from fire element attacks. Oh my... But, I'm sure defeating Ardgevald (AI2: The Azoth of Destiny) is a lot more harder. Then, I changed my strategy to make Iris and Nell immune to fire, ice, and electricity, because Edge can stand even to that electric fist thing. That's my Edge.

Re: The good/bad of this game
About the blades. Jiptus, Plua, Diemia and Siren are both USELESS!! I just use Fanatos and Nymph. Though Trick or Treat is good, just useless for me. Iris...If she can use blades, the game should be more intersting. About Faustus, quite interests me...It's Chomp hammer, I always had fun with it.
