I would love to have a PSP port with a new localization. It's been a very long time since I played this one, and it would be nice to see it without the censorship (mild though it was).

Yes, there definitely needs to be a remake AND a sequel.
La Pucelle was the only NIS game that I was able to get all the way through.
With Dark Eclair being DLC in Disgaea 2 portable, I hope they decide to go back to La Pucelle.
Almost all the NIS games are either already remade or they are guaranteed to be remade, why not La Pucelle?
I think it would make a excellent port on a handheld system.

Has NIS America announced or made any mention La Pucelle:Ragnarok (PSP) for the US yet?
