No region lock is one reason that i got my ps3 the othr reason is because it can also be a computer i run ubuntu linux on my ps3 and its just as good as the mac os or windows. so my ps3 is also my computer

Btw ps3 is by no means the worst blunder since the virtuial boy, that title would go to the nokias n-gage

Yes a North American release will happen.

As for the PS3 its not 100% region free ie a Japanese import PS1 and PS2 game will NOT be region free on a PS3 only Japanese PS3 ONLY games are.

Meaning that without mod chipping a PS3 or buying a swap magic/slide card you still won't be able to play import PS2 and PS1 games on a North American PS3 at all but I still can't afford the system anyways.

I played to Mana Khemia 2 jap. version.
It is a very, very good game.
I hope that NISA will translate it as soon, as possibly.

I also hope NISAfail doesn't do a botch job and completely kill all the names. Again. Though, they already killed the main characters' names in Cross Edge. Sigh. I love how they never look at the official website to see that the names are already romanized. Rozeluxe Meitzen became Roze, and Roze became Raze. Christ. What the **** is up with you people?
