Lol, this is great, I wonder how many people smatched their TVs :)
I haven't used a walkthrough at all durring this game, but I could see a lot of people having to restart from scratch for not being properly prepared.
I'm old school, so when I say I'm prepared, I'm "prepared", yet there have been times I've died to a boss, or used up just about all my healing supplies.
There are 3 bosses(maybe more, but I'm on chapter 11, the last event)you have to fight that are insanely powerful, two of which you are just thrown into without any kind of warning.
Lets just say, you have better been assigning your char to Synth mainly Heal All, becuase you'll be needing them, and they aren't that easy to make.
I can't wait until part 2 comes out, a RPG that you actually have to use tactics, or you will be "OWNED". I rarely use Roxis in my main 3 lineup (he's in my support group), becuase his raw power sucks, however he has some amazing sills(like Purify, and his mana calling skills), but I don't know how I could've beaten certain bosses without him, especially the ones that can do 3 attacks in a row.
PS. Lol, I would love to see the reaction on all these new school player's faces, when they get stuck on a boss that seems so godly, and becuase they weren't prepared, they have to restart the entire game over again lol(omg, that is just so great).
Note: also when a item says it reduces damage from a element, they aren't kidding, it drastically reduces damage, unlike most games where such effects are kept at a min(good thing too, otherwise certain optional bhosses would be like impossible to kill, aka stupid Snow Maiden lol).

Not just Heal All, you should sythesis Elixir, Super Nectar and of course, Shining Grail. I always assigning Jess, Roxis, Anna and the main character to synthesis those items. Nikki and Flay are assigned to sythesis Altena Ingot, Steels, and Liquid metal that required to make Shining Grail. Elixir's receipe can be obtained atfter defeating Isolde in chapter 10. Shining Grail's receipe can be obtained by buying receipe to Infirmary at chapter 10-11. Super Nectar's receipe can be obtained by buying receipe to Infirmary at chapter 9.
I think you've made a BIG mistake that placing Roxis into support. He is really helps me, with Purify, Retraction, Judgment, Chrona Drive, Lunar Drive and Moon Drive. Let me told you, Isolde will often use Ancient Secret in battle with you. Snow Maiden, you can't defeat it?!?!?! OMG.... You should edit your post that says: (good thing too,otherwise certain optional bosses would be like impossible to kill, aka stupid Snow Maiden, lol). Snow Maiden is not impossible, but is nearly possible. I just use Nikki's normal attack, HellWave, Flare Rain and Flame Gaze. Or Tera Flame, that deals great damage. And Jess's On-the-spot-sythesis, it's really helps me...And in the end....EINZELKAMFP!Just dealing 6730 total damages not makes me proud. In the second Finishing Burst mode, CENTIFLORA X deals half from Vayne's Einzelkamfp damage. I mean come on, I always hoping Anna's Centiflora X could dealt damage at least 4000. But...In the end, it just dealt 2300, the max is 3685. For the really last finishing burst, just use Variable Strike and then... Einzelkamfp once again. And y'know what I got?? 7800 total dealt damage. I equipped Vayne with Magic Stone Collar. I just finished Snow Maiden with Nikki's Herat Cracker

True those items are good, but they are also easier to make then Heal Alls, not to mention, you'll usually only need a few(1 Shinning Grail), unlike Heal Alls which you need alot, since alot of the bosses like to attack the entire party.
Perhaps I should've clarified better, but I beat Snow Maiden, when you equip 3 Diamond Dusts on your main party, she becomes a joke(That shuts down that Frozen Air skill real fast lol).
Well, I do swich him in as needed, but my starting party is Vayne, Fray, and Nikki(Nikki owns).
PS. Well I just got Vayne to do just under 8,000, with a Boosted Burst attack.

I guess you're right, but I'm more prefer Elixir, Shining Grail and Super Nectar. Heal All... I just need 5 to defeat Isolde. I just use Heal All spell, that Jess' has.
And...You're using Diamond Dust? That's a waste of time, I think. Just use Purifying when Roxis' turn comes, and BOM! Heal All are a lot easier to me to make than those items I just already listed. I have 99 in my last clear data.
P.S: Don't forget if you placed Vayne as a Vanguard, you won't be able to do Variable Strike.

The problem is, the stupid spell is vastly over costed (it should be 100 tops), so she can only cast it once, before she needs to regen in the support line(or you can pop alot of sp regen items, but that means you wont be doing much attacking).
Well Purify becomes pratically pointless, when 3 of those Frozen Air attacks happen in a row. Without Diamond dust, 2 of them is enough to kill certain char(it does like 130- 150ish damage a shot, with the Diamond Dust, the attack was only doing between 20-30 damage, lol It's a big difference.
PS. Of course after the battle with the Snow Maidens, I took the Diamond Dusts oof, but they were a joke with them on, I didn't even do any party switching durring the battle, that's how badly they were owned, thanks to no small part to Diamond Dusts.

Heh, my Jess's SP is 450. I just using Healing Echo Omega that costs 160 SP's And, not just once, I used it.... 42 times? Of course, by swichting and SP regen items. Well, I just use Roxis adn Nikki to attack, Roxis' Chrona Drive and Nikki's Panther Beat and Harpy Dive, or Wood Storm... Note: When Frozen Air deals damage to my entire party, it just damaging my entire party 15-20 damages. I used Anna's Dimension Slice W. And.. I just beat Snow Maiden with 3 times burst, with all full Finishing Burst gauge. 6 times Variable Strike, and I knocked it down. 2 times special.
How is your party HP's overall? Mine is 481,5.

Well it is my first time through the game, and I didn't use a walk though. Vayne is over 400, Nikki is almost 400, Flay will be at 500 soon, but everyone else is well under 400(Roxis has 380 HP I think, but everyone else, just has slightly over 300).

I'll tell you as soon as I beat it, but, I have no idea when I'll get back to that. I sort've got wrapped up in Makai Kingdom that just came in the mail.
Lol, that would be some wierd techer/student set up, becuase I'm 29(yea yea, I'm getting old sigh).
