Yep, and it is really IRRESPOSIBLE. I coulda swore that when I entered the shop, I felt that the aura was kinda bad........................But...I never thought that when I bought Ar Tonelico 2, the set was EMPTY! I just got the copy and the game. They insisted that the set I bought not included the book art and OST. Uuurgh,I'll make sure that GameStop would repay!! Give me back my money...... Ar Tonelico 2 premium set costs at least 125 dollars.... And it really makes me sad because of it, I cannot hang out with my boyfriend and my friends at Saturday night, yea yeah, all of my night I spent to calling GameStop....

Try emailing NISA like I did. Even if they don't replace it, they will at least become aware of what GameStop is doing.

By the way, is there a way to email the headquarters of GameStop.

Some things about Gamestop, go to youtube and type in "WhistleBlowerZero".

Also, Gamestop employee's are allowed to take "new" games home to play, and then bring them back and sell them to you as if they were new.

One day one of my customers brought in a disc that looked like it had been used to scale cement, and they said it was literally brand-new minutes past from the Gamestop upstairs.

In short, Gamestops are highly dependant upon the employee's they hire. Most of the time they'll hire anyone who can pass a drug-test and isn't a convict. Sometimes, rarely, you get a Gamestop that has employee's that know what they're talking about and are genuinely helpful.

That is the EXCEPTION though, not the rule.

This is an outrage!

Also, I'm a little worried. It's been two weeks since I sent my game to NISA, but they have yet to send me my replacement, and my two emails have been ignored...

I went into gamestop and got the new Ar Tonelico II game and the girl at the counter almost had a heart attack when I began opening the package. She said, wait we just shrink wrapped that, which made me very nervous. She was really freaking out, so of course I figured that something would be wrong, but everything was in there. It was truly a weird experience.

I only go to GameStop because there aren't many other choices any more. Having moved here from California, I can also say that in most parts of California they're still the worst game store you can find (unless there isn't another one, or the other one is GameCrazy). Of course, individual stores are going to be completely dependent on the employees and management.

Still, they shouldn't be opening boxes if they're selling them new, and should take the time to show you the disc and contents if they're giving you an open box. I've had mostly good experiences with GameStop as far as getting what I paid for, but overall they give their employees too much incentive to lie to you rather than let you know what's going on.

It also sounds like a few of you are really getting some price-gouging at your local GameStops, which is very unusual, since most of them just use the prices in their computers (which should be the same as online). Or you guys are paying in some weird currency that makes games cost almost twice what they're supposed to be charging.
