Any chance for disgaea 3 on 360?
I'm a huge fan of the series and I want to play this game very badly. But I can't afford a Ps3, is there any chance of this game being released on the 360?

Not going to happen. The 360 is not a big enough system in Japan for this game to ever be ported there. If it was going to be ported to anything, it would be on the Wii.
The only company that seems to be actively keeping the 360 alive in Japan is Squeenix.
A PS3 is really not that expensive, man. Just start saving up and by the Holidays, you'll be able to play Disgaea 3.

360 will probly just freeze up from how awesome disgaea 3 is. system would go red ring of death... tha's why no disgaea on 360.
i do own a 360 and if u look me up on xbox live. same user name as i am u can view my comment on the 360 well my blog thing on xbox live lol.

As stated, a PS3 is not that expensive. If you were able to afford a 360 plus keep a steady supply of games for it, then the PS3 is no problem.
Also, I thought the Red Ring of Death was pretty much dealt with, and that this "E74" error was the new affliction for the 360.
I like how, in the link, Microsoft is trying to downplay the situation.

no if u read xbox mag. the problem is mostly sloved with jasper i think it is. but u have to get that certain x-box 360 with a jasper in it or u going to get red ring of death sooner or later. but even with a jasper the prob is still not fully sloved sense the way they designed the 360 in the first place.

Nope never going to happen. Microsoft doesn't care about games like Disgaea, Phantom Brave, Ar tonelico, Atelier and so on. Not to mention there is not enough fan-base in Japan of it's 360 users who would even care if Disgaea was on the 360 or not and not to mention America is even worse since rpgs haven't been selling well on the 360 except for maybe Western rpgs like Fallout, Elder Scrolls, and Fable. Even Tales of Vesperia which is getting a better version for PS3 just like how Namco Bandai did with Eternal Sonata and how neither one of them sold as well as they hoped for and why they were given to a console that can actually sell JRPGs.

Thanks for the heads up, Leo. I don't read Xbox mag. I don't associate myself with anything that has to do with Xbox. It's not that I don't like the system, I just don't like Microsoft's tactics and the Xbox-side of representation in the gaming community.
Also, I'm not really sure what it is that you're saying in your post. Are you talking about RRoD or E76? Are you saying it's solved or not? What's a "jasper"?
Anyway, as soon as I can get Lost Odyssey on PS3 or (more likely) PC, I can just forget about the 360. It has no other games that I'm even remotely interested in.
It's interesting what you said there, artonelico. As soon as Namco Bandai ported Eternal Sonata over to the PS3, they got a sale from me. Let's keep our Japanese RPGs on our Japanese game consoles.

a jasper is the name of the prosser of the system i think it is. something like that. they have 3 diffrent prossers now. proble speeling that wrong but whatever. they all have diffrent names but the jasper is the newest greatest one at the moment. until it goes red all the god dam time. if you going to buy a syatem buy a system that stays working most of the time get a dam ps3 or wii. i recomment the ps3 over the wii though. just save a little more.

look, in mot fanboy or anithing, but you say the xbox 360 is trash, well, let me tell you, just because it isnt a japanese console it doesnt mean it is a bad console, i wish and i know tha NIS will make a port of disgaea 1,2 or 3 for the xbox 360, or if not a port it may bing diasgaea 4 to it, if you really like games from nippon ichi software, the, why dont you want it to be in xbox 360? they are more sales for them, and more people will know the game, especially in america, and if someone say that is will gae a red ring of death for play disgaea on an xbox 360... why do someone have to care, if it is not your xbox 360, be happy for the person who managed to play disgaea before his 360 died, that is the true spirit of a gamer, not to blame the console, play games and let more people know about the games.
