 Disgaea Anime Encore? (spoilers)
Ok, so I haven't played the first Disgaea, but i have the second one, and love it. The anime came out and it took me a while to figure out why Adell wasn't in it, and what was really going on. Once i realized it was based (sort of) on the first disgaea I understood it better. I loved the anime, it was one of the better ones I've seen and it was really funny. On the second to last episode at the end during the preview, Flonne says something about a new series to look forward to :Flonnes counter attack. Also, if you search youtube for Extra disgaea Trailer, you will find a weird trailer about disgaea, Laharl, Etna, and Flonne in her fallen angel form...along with Adell and his family who look really confused. Has anyone heard or know about any news of a second season to Disgaea's anime series?

I believe what you're talking about is a special anime scene within Disgaea 2 itself. It plays as part of Laharl's fight, I believe (either before or after, I don't remember which).

Ok, yeah i researched it and a LOT of people say that "extra" trailer is actually footage from the game, which i don't doubt really, but it DID in the anime say to look forward to a new series after disgaea is over called flonnes counter attack, but i guess since the first disgaea Anime only just finally came out it will be a while before they come out with more, if they do...just wondered if anyone had heard anything about a second season, because i would love to see it

"Flonne's Counter Attack" was just a joke they were making.
As for that scene featuring Etna and Fallen Angel Flonne trying to kill Laharl before the very eyes of Adell's family, that was just a special trailer.

It was really a shame that there weren't more anime cutscenes in Disgaea 2, the revenge of Etna and Flonne was priceless.
