When fighting baal.....
Has anyone else got the problem with having 4 monsters do the team attack, and when uber prinny Baal counters, the game freezes? It happens to me all the time. I caught a bunch of level 9999 monsters, just for fun, and tried to fight prinny Baal. And the monsters do 0 damage in the team attack, which I find very funny. But when Baal counters, the screen zooms in for the counter, then the game just stays that way. The music is still on, and the sprites are still moving. But the game just freezes.

Can't say I have. I've only fought Prinny Baal twice, using only Laharl to attack both times... I suppose I could try to capture some level 9999 monsters in the gate right outside and try it. Never heard of that happening before though. And what level is prinny Baal for four level 9999s to do 0 damage? o.O

When I fought him with all the dark congress stronger enemies bills passed. The only character that could do real damage was my level 8000 female savior. My best character by the way, I love my female savior. Cute, yet she is looks so mature, probably because she looks very calm all the time. Anyways, I remember it taking so very very long. With 1000K damage each hit. So I guess he was level 9999. Also, because I don't have a theif (I must sound like a newbie now) I couldn't steal anything from him. So he had pretty big defense and attack. And the monsters all had three prinny costumes, and the nemesis MK2. The monsters didn't stand a chance.
Well, with him at the level 6000, my monsters still did 0 on him. But baal also did no damage on my monsters after I stole his weapon.

Huh... Sounds more like a bug to me. While he's at level 6000, what is his def and what is your attack? I would think that four level 9999 monsters would have no trouble with him, especially since they have Nemesis Mk IIs.
Oh and I don't blame you for not having a thief. They're way too hard to level >.>

Ok, well, I am going to try it out again. I might have said the wrong thing about baal level 6000. I havent fought him in a long time. I just started a new cycle for the fun of it, and just beat baal. So I will soon try it out again. maybe tomorrow?

I used three characters that could hurt BAAL. Use a thief to steal his weapon and armor. Then have three people use braveheart on the atackers. Just execute the moves bring out a low level personand have them lift BAAL. BAAL will kill them but he wont get to attack. Repeat till he falls.
