There's information on siliconera.com, a video gaming blog, about the battle system. http://www.siliconera.com/2009/08/14/princess-antiphona-asks-players-to-apologize-before-escaping-battle/

That's actually pretty interesting how that works, haha. This game certainly isn't for everyone, but I think people who enjoy lighthearted stories would really smile at small details like that.

Do you suppose the battles will be difficult enough to notice a feature like that? I have a tendency to not run from battle to the point that I get Game Overs.

I figure not, Rhapsody had the easiest battles ever... even games like Persona 4 I don't often run in unless it's extremely dire or when I get angry at too many random encounters.

Who's doing the characters design? Not Takehito Harada, I presume?

It's the same guy who did the character design for Rhapsody DS remake, I think. Don't know his/her name, though.

I believe that it's Ryoji.

No, Ryoji did the art for the original game+la pucelle but the artist for Antiphona and Rhapsody DS is completely new.

Their name is Maruyama Kaoru according to their website -> http://maruproduction.com/index.html

Nice find, Marionette! However, the site you linked to says: [公式サイト]のキャラクターデザインを担当しました, which means they only did the characters for the official Web-site, right? Not for the game itself?

Upd: nvm, I see it now. Yes, they really were responsible for taking care of Marl Kingdom games after Ryoji. Thanks for the info! Will keep an eye on them, hehe.

Ah yeah, that's just how they say illustrator for the games. It's listed like that on NIS's website too, but they also list Harada like that. It's usually one artist per game with a few exceptions here and there.

I saw a new trailer on siliconera.com today. It shows most of the characters, the battle system, and some of the songs. Here's the link. Enjoy. http://www.siliconera.com/2009/08/21/meet-princess-antiphonas-cast-sample-a-song/

I found lots of screenshots on IGN.com, a video gaming site. Here's the link. http://psp.ign.com/objects/019/019643.html
