Your always doing this NISA!

So today, I went to my local gamestop.
To pick up a copy of Phantom Brave.
Only to find out, it hasn't even shipped yet.
And no other store has it either, and they also don't know when it will be shipped or get the game in.

NISA, its always like this with you.
You promise us a firm release date, then suddenly delay the game, or shipping date for whatever reason(Like what you did with PB confirming a June release date...). It was the same for Disgaea DS, Disgaea 2, and allot of other games.

If this continues. I'm afraid we may no longer ever be.

As someone who buys games first day, I can tell you NISA is not the only one who does this. It's been like this for years. I'm not too sure I would blame NISA, actually. Lately, no matter what game I was looking to buy (if it wasn't a super big name title) it would never be there first day. You just get used to it. Not like you're going to die, right?

In fact, I've recently simply switched over to ordering all my games online and just wait the few days, because it seems like Gamestop and the rest of the retailers have to wait for shipping, anyway. Sometimes it works out. For Cross Edge, it shipped out before the indicated date and got to my house early.

Yeah this happens with almost every non-big name game. Ordering online is best if you don't care about preorder bonuses. When I do it at my local GS I can always cancel the order if they didn't get my bonus

I've had fewer problems getting pre-order bonuses by ordering online than I ever had pre-ordering at Gamestop.

That being said, the last game I bought in a Gamestop was Mana Khemia (not the 2nd one) for PS2 and it was in the store on day one. A lot of it depends highly on location, since Gamestop gets their shipment from the game's distributor (not NISA, usually Atlus USA or Koei) and then Gamestop sends it out to their stores according to the pre-order numbers and the roll of the dice.

I havent had many problems with preorders from GS. o-o When we went to preorder Katamari Forever they just gave it to us cuz it was already in stock XD

But yeah it is all location. I mean, the one we favor is way out of the way, and sort of near a large mall, which has 3 of them in it... so nobody goes to the one we go to XD And being where they are they usually get the shipments just like the rest. >emoticon
