Do what you want. I'm just saying I have a low tolerance for low quality. I don't have cash to throw into the fire, you know?

If this is about me saying the design was flawed, that's not really coming from me. More of something I heard when searching to buy.
You mentioned the problem being fixed. So are you saying I can get a 360 that won't break down? Can you tell me more?

Perhaps something I quoted was a 360 game? Like I would know! That wasn't the focus, I was just making a joke with the "I would kill" stuff. My post was unrelated to the quotes. No need to be a fame-muncher and throw profanity around.

having a system with bad reliability isn't much of a big deal. I had 2 ps2's break on me, and i still got a 3rd one to play the games. It's all about the games although exclusives nowadays is rather rare.

As much as i would love 360 development (i have a 360), i just don't see it happening because of the small user base in japan. I just get the feeling that these niche games makes more money in japan then anywhere else.

I'd rather nothing was made for 360.
Apparently, that system doesn't have a very good lifespan, with this "red rings of death" thing going on. So I don't plan on getting one.
However, I think I saw someone playing a 360 game on a computer before; they had the controller. How's that work? It'd be better than a design-flawed system.

*Facepalm*

I really fail to see why the company should avoid licensing a decent game just because it's played on a console that has issues that don't even relate to the game itself, especially if such issues have already been resolved.

Console fanboys, I ****ing swear...

Ok calm down. You don't need to get all defensive. Its his opinion, and rightly so. I bet a lot of people feel the same.

A lot of people shyed away from the 360 because of the red ring, myself included. Why would anyone want to buy something that they would have to mail back to Microsoft in a few weeks? Microsoft also ignored the problem for a while, and haven't made any real notice that the problem has been fixed. I still know a very long list of people who have had plenty of things melt and detach inside their 360s and are waiting to get them repaired. So of course people are going to be wary of such a thing.

When it gets to it, NISA localizes for NIS. That being said, NIS in Japan doesn't want to work with the 360, most likely because of its dwindling popularity. If you were a game dev you wouldn't want to put things out on a system that isn't selling much. You might as well just make games for calculators.

And on that note, I think NIS chose systems that could handle the calculations they needed, moreso Disgaea than many others I imagine, but I think they saw it as picking the right tools. I don't know much about processing power between consoles, but I think the ps3 had more? I know the psp is stronger than the DS, so in the handheld market it did what they wanted.

As a last note, they've gotten a ton of sales on their current market...so why change the strategy? I bet theres a few people at NIS and NISA that see it that way.

I have a 360, but I mostly Use it to watch movies, there really not that many intersting titles on the system IMPO, I can see why NISA stays away from it its not very hot in japan & its mostly for people who are obsessed with Shooters & M rated games....In fact I only have about 3 games for mine & theres probably only 4 or 5 I want, & that includes ones yet to come out Like FFXIII & the new version of SF IV (I still need to get the origional.) but yea, I would'nt mind the 360 version of Crossedge coming out state side, but if it doesn't no big deal. Nisa Does better on Soney systems & the DS anyway. emoticon

PrinPrin, you are like...the sole-redeeming person on these forums. You research, have a sense of humor, and actually think.

Okay, maybe not the only person. Daverost, Marionette, and a few others are pretty cool, too.

And my apologies if my straightforward nature upsets anyone. Don't bite my head off. I don't have it there just for show.

...Gah! My friend was right. I am rude. ; ;
Please forgive me!

Honestly, the 360 isn't as bad as most people think it is, if you have one, you'd know. I mean, it's not nearly as well made as the PS3, but it does have the software to back it up.

But really, I'm way past being a Sony fanboy myself(I was one during the last generation(who wasn't?!)), so I'm not too worried about the status of it. Though in earnest, I'm not really for either right now, as I don't think the scene is too exciting at the moment.

I doubt many people would buy a system for ONE game.... That's like selling your soul.

Ajikage..... I don't know how to answer that. But I'm a dinosaur, gao.... emoticon

I heard some people haven't had problems, but I'm not a gambling man. And I'm not part of those MP3 groups who are used to sending their I-Pods in all the time.
I want to play Tales of Vesperia... (Will PC work?)

I wasn't. I think. Got my PSP two or three years ago. I mainly stuck with Nintendo things, then Tales of Symphonia came out and blew my mind. I really started to love RPGs from that point.

I think my friend I mentioned earlier did that. He got his PSP for Final Fantasy Tactics.

I heard some people haven't had problems, but I'm not a gambling man. And I'm not part of those MP3 groups who are used to sending their I-Pods in all the time.

I understand why some people might not like the 360, but as it stands now the PS3 just doesn't have the software to convince me. Besides that, I can't find anything remotely wrong with it. In terms of hardware, it has the Microsoft machine beat.

To tell you the truth, I'm not really interested in any of the handhelds this time around. I'm more of a console player, but it's sad right now, there's nothing releasing for them. Most of their efforts have been put into the smaller machines. That leaves me with practically nothing to play.

Hmm, I wouldn't do something like that, what if he suddenly didn't like it?

Wait, wait, I'm gonna give this a shot... Is that AIR? Or maybe Kanon?

Hehe, you nailed it. It's AIR. Don't make me start using the "Uguu!" thing now, ok? It's even in my sig... "sigh" I hate that, so I changed her quote into something more original. People seem to quote that way too much.
