Well, techinically Laharl could never kill Ash because Ash is already dead. But Laharl is definitely stronger.

Yeah, I have to agree with Daverost. Although, I wonder if Laharl could summon up enough power to utterly destroy Ash - sure, he's dead, but he still has a type of "existence". I'd imagine a powerful enough being could annihilate him. Not sure if Laharl has that much power, though.

Good question. I never thought of that. I suppose that with Laharl's story in Makai Kingdom, it's safe to assume that he DOES, but it's still fun to speculate.

I vote for Ash, his Solemn Vow + braveheart will make him pretty god-like. But I have to say, Laharl is pretty strong.

A few variations of that...
1: if it were just Phantom Ash, he couldn't confine himself, so Laharl wins.
2: If it were Marona and Dead Ash, then Marona and Dead Ash would double team Laharl.
3: If it were Alive ash, Ash would eat laharls Face off.

Well, netherworldliness and all. I suppose Laharl could whip up a way to make Ash into a form of reality in the netherworld. They would duke it out, aand I would say...well, uh...Laharl most likely. Ash doesn't seem to pack the punch Laharl has. And besides, Laharl is more prone to cheap shots.
Though then again, Ash could bring along Sierra and her "womanly extra-bits" would have Laharl flustered. Victory for Ash!
Now...a battle...of the voice actors! Flonne or Marona?! Who would win?! Neither. They would sit down and have tea with Prinnies.

Ash cannot damage Laharl due to differences in power but Laharl cannot damage Ash since he won't sustain "damage" in the first place. No contest
