Help Uberstat Characters
I get the idea that I can fuse an item to a character to get my characters stats up. I'm really wanting to get the speed of my characters up but I don't think I'm getting it right. Is it even possible to raise the stats of a character by fusing a high speed weapon to it? I've tried fusing a dagger (spd 20) with a slime (spd 18). That way I could fuse my fast slime to another character. I fused the dagger with the slime but the slime's spd stayed the same. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Re: Help Uberstat Characters
What I do is....
I slap a Failure title on my characters equipped sword.
Than I start fusing weeds, other swords, and flowers to the equipped sword to raise its SPD,ATK,and INT.
It works good so that when you equip the sword, the character's stats go up as well as the sword's.
And whenever I run out of mana to fuse, I use the sword and kill enemies to get more.
(Don't forget ,after fusing ,to add the orignal title to the sword.)

Re: Help Uberstat Characters
So that would raise the equiped stats of the sword. But is there a way to bypass the sword and raise the stats of just the character through fusion? Also, why do you stick the failure title on the sword before you fuse for stats? What or how does that help?

Nope. All fusion will do for a character is add abilities and increase the max level.

It makes the game think that the weapon's stats are lower, so when you fuse something, it will get a much larger boost than it would with any other title on it. It makes each fusion fairly expensive, but much cheaper overall. Using Failure fusion, I've gotten two weapons to over 1.2 (1.3-4 maybe?) million attack, and I could easily go higher. But at this point I can kill the strongest boss in the game, so why bother?

Thanks for clearing up the confusion about fusing stats to weapons. So what's a good way to stat up your characters?

Equip them with an uberweapon that you've made ^_^;; unfortunately, that's about all you can do. Once you make high-quality weapons, the character's stats are pretty unimportant and the weapon is all. Just make sure not to let the enemy steal your best weapon, or it's probably all over. (My fight with Pringer X was entirely devoted to making sure he was being held by a character at each of his turns so he couldn't steal my level 2 Weed of Doom.)

Make an impossibly high level dungeon, slap a Failure title on it, confine your characters to the items there. The enemies will have -80% to all stats, but you won't get any exp from killing them. The giant exp boosts come from confining your characters to the high level items there. Also, if you do enough levels without leaving, the bonus exp at the end of the fights will be huge. It's an easy way to get levels.

Re: Help Uberstat Characters
Thanks folks. I'm fairly new to the NIS genre but it didn't take long to get hooked. I actually got into them while deployed to the desert where a buddy there introduced me to them. I ordered Fantom Brave and Disgaea so they would be there waitng for me. My roomie played them while I was gone and he was as good as hooked too. I can't wait to see what NIS cranks out next!
