Disk Spinning Cutting Out?
So, twice now it has happened to me that I'll be in the middle of a battle and the music will stop. I'll hear attack sounds and voices, but no music. Then, when I finish the mission, instead of getting the "Now Loading . . . " screen, I get blackness. If I then eject the disk and put it back in, it spins up and the cutscene begins. However, this is annoying. Anyone else seen this? I'm wondering if it's the game or my PS2 going bad . . .

I experienced freezing a couple times with Phantom Brave and freezing AND the slowing down with La Pucelle.
However, that was with an old junky PS2. Now I have a new, slim version and I have had zero problems. I think your problems have to do with the state of your PS2... you could get it cleaned or repaired, perhaps.

I have a PS2 slim, and to me it sends my lends down further. This only happened after I left the game with John, but oh well.
