Character Classes and Subclasses
Recently, the "Knight," "Archer," "Ninja," and "Rogue" character classes became available to me.
But, what makes more advanced character classes become available?
Furthermore, as I'm sure you know, there are subclasses within the classes, e.g., after "Warrior" are "Battler," "Centurion," and "Champion." What makes subclasses available?
Is character class and subclass availability affected by the rank of the character creating the new character, your character's level, your progress through the game, or whether or not you've seen an enemy as that character class?
Furthermore, are Ninjas and Rogues only available as male, and are Archers and Knights only available as females?

Re: Character Classes and Subclasses
Hah, nevermind: found it.

Apparently, Knights, Archers and Ronins are only available as Female, and Ninjas, Rogues and Scouts are only available as Male. Odd that they'd have only male or only female available for certain classes...

Any new class you unlock is gender exclusive.

Ahh, I'd pretty much found that...and it's really disappointing.
