Re: OMG New topic...Gunny's MSTs.
OMG a new topic! *fangirlish squeeing*
I haven't browsed your site in ages Gunnies... it's about time for a re-visit.
I'm reading the MST of "And they say women are the weaker sex". Hehehehe...
quote: Theresa: *puts the mallet away* Okay. Just don't let it happen again. *ahem* And so, without further ado, We're delighted....er....happy...? No, um....
Duo: Not entirely displeased?
That made me laugh out loud. And now for the MSTing checklist. Computer, security check!
- meal eaten? yes.
- completely swallowed? yes.
- coffee secure? yes, in spill proof mug
*computer beeps*
Caution: Do not ingest coffee whilst reading.
Onwards...
quote: He had defeated an entire gang of
Theresa: Fangirls
nasty horrible people
Duo: Close enough.
Hehe.
This would probably be even funnier if I had seen more than one episode of Gundam Wing and knew the fandom.
I kept chuckling with reasonable regularity... and then...
quote: The only possibility left was the garden. Heero went there. Relena was there. Sitting on the floor next to a plant.
Duo: Must. Speak like. Shatner.
Theresa: Some commas would work nicely amongst those sentence fragments.
Gwahahaha!!
quote: “I COMPLETELY BURNED THE LASAGNE, I AM A FAILURE AS A WIFE, AS A WOMAN AND AS A PERSON!!”
Theresa: Check, check, check, aaannnd check!
Duo: She's doing our job for us!
I started wondering at this point... why is this fic called "And they say women are the weaker sex"? Thus far it seems to be actually demonstrating that women are weaker. Crying over a dead plant? Freaking out over a burned lasagna? That does suck in itself, but saying you're a failure as a woman and a wife because of it? *bangs head on desk repeatedly*
quote: What the heck was wrong with Relena tonight…
Theresa: A better question would be, "What *wasn't* wrong with Relena?"
Duo: Yes,the answers for that question would be much shorter.
I was going to say you should work in a comment about how seriously unhinged Relena is, but I see you already did.
quote: “AH!
Duo: (Doctor) Sorry, dude, you married a psycho-chick, I can't help you. G'bye.
quote: “You’re welcome…” replied the doctor before putting the phone down.
Theresa: In the garbage can.
I love these kind of comments. AW is the master with "He dropped his ear to the ground -Aragorn: I won't be needing this anymore!"
quote: Duo: Well, that was an interesting way to spend some time. Got any more?
Theresa: *points to her computer, where the homepage for fanfiction.net is burning a hole in the screen*
Hehe, great ending.
In the whole MST, I only have one comment. Is the name "Relena Darlian-Peacecraft Yuy" a silly name in the Gundam fandom? Yuy obviously makes sense, but Relena Darlian-Peacecraft? Perhaps some additional mockery could have ensued. (Not that I expect you to edit your MST now.)
I liked your credits at the end... bears a resemblance to a certain other website. But maybe that's the convention.
I also liked how you gave concrit on the story after MSTing it. That was great! If the author ever reads this she'll learn something (beyond that Relena is a few fries short of a Happy Meal).
Great MST Gundamkiwi! *cheers*
EDIT: Teh speeling

Re: OMG New topic...Gunny's MSTs.
Yuy is Heero's last name...it's mockable because it would never also be Relena's last name. Sorry for the confusion...
...drats, now I have to go change the credits...*stumbles off to do so...eventually*

Re: OMG New topic...Gunny's MSTs.
Hee. So do you have any new MSTs Gunny?
No, I haven't updated my own site since January. Why do you ask?
