What about... camels?

This cheeful camel is named Håkan. Camels are really tough. Did you know camels were imported to British Columbia during the Gold Rush, experimentally, to see if they would be good beasts of burden? They escaped into the wild where they eventually died. emoticon

So I guess they only work out in desert situations. When you think about it, camels are kind of bizarre creatures. But who else could live full-time in a desert?? emoticon

We had something similiar in Oregon, The Great Carmels of the Dessert......they too all escaped and died.

I stick to rhinos for transportation, you can't beat the entrance-points when crashing a party......

Good point, but I think they'd be a lot less comfortable. They would be formiddable in battle though.

Reminds me, we had a red chevy lumino 2 door. It seated 6 people, great big sedan but had the great big 10-ton doors that swing open (something like a 8 foot wing span fully extended). Anyway, the hinges were bad and the doors always tried to swing shut on you....(you have to say this in a funny voice) we called them The Doors of Doom, forged by the Dark Disgruntled Assebly-line Workers for pleasure and soft drinks, prefereably something lite in a "cola"....
