Re: Reading and Books
Have just purchased Clive/Dirk Cussler's latest Dirk Pitt-book Black Wind.
Hope it keeps up the same quality that has been the hallmark of CC's Dirk Pitt-books so far.

Re: Reading and Books
Clive Cussler has two names?
I'm reading "Fear, Anxiety, and Other Unvited Guests" by Harriet Learner. It's not very gripping, but we can't all be "An Unquiet Mind" (by Kay Redfield Jamison).

Re: Reading and Books
I just finished Mike Jeferries original triology that began with "Road to Underfall" & ended with "Shadowlight". It was fairly good, no where near JRRT, but Mike told a good story.

Re: Reading and Books
I am currently reading The Elegant Universe by string theorist, Brian Greene. It's great, but I odn't feel like posting a summary.

Re: Reading and Books
I so want to read The Secret Life of Bees - I heard a lot of buzz about it (hee hee! coudn't resist) and it's all great buzz.
I've been reading a riveting biography about William Randolph Hearst called The Chief, by David Nasaw. This book is written so well. It has been dificult to put the book down. Very riveting reading, indeed.
