Nice! I love those movies. Troja is the Swedish word for Troy. I saw that one in theatres. emoticon

I saw Whale Rider pretty recently. It was super cool! It's about a Moari girl, (set in New Zealand), struggling with issues in their culture. It's very interesting and beautifully filmed.

Alan Rickman is one of my FAVORITE bad guys because he is always funny....Remember Robin Hood Prince of Thieves? He was classy in Die Hard, and he's done some twisted flicks across the pond that no matter the content he's always a gem. emoticon

They are proud and wilful, but they are true-hearted, generous in thought and deed: bold but not cruel; wise but unlearned, writing no books but singing many songs after the manner of children of Men before the Dark Years.

I just watched "King Arthur". Oh boy. I certainly don't regret watching it, but the entire premise of the movie - to create a historical setting for the Arthurian legends, failed completely. That was a shame. They should have made the movie about the Roman officer Lucius Artorius Castos who was stationed at Hadrian's wall. Not try to make this historical person into King Arthur. Incidentally, Badon hill is in the south west of Britain, and cross-bows had not yet been invented! Gah.

It was a good movie though. Kiera Knightly was very good as Guinevere.

I saw the Love in a cold climate-trilogy with Mum this weekend.

It's a marvellous mini-series. I like these "classic"-style movies (often referred to as costume-movies).

Set in the early 20th century just prior to the First World War.

Excellent actors. Excellent accents. Excellent scenes.

In school we are watching Gahndi. Haven't finished it yet but it's quite good so far.
