I dunno Seraph, it sounds like you've seen a lot of movies recently! emoticon I haven't seen "Serenity" (I'd like to) or "Star Wars III" (shmeh).

I just saw "V for Vendetta" and it's awesome! The direction is brilliance - narration mixes with real time scenes beautifully. The plot is interesting and cool, the acting is fantastic (Bad ass Hugo Weaving is perfect as V, and Natalie Portman is a complete genius as Evey Hammond) and the special effects are neat. The fight scenes are also cool.

One of my favourite characters is Finch - he's very complex and interesting. I enjoyed the detailed and complex characters and plot in the movie. At the same time, you can still relate to the characters, and understand what's going on.

Awesome movie!

I watched Run, Lola, Run twice this week....WOWI love this film....just loved it....words are failing me here, but I love when she is running...the music, trance beat, her strong emotions, and desperate stance. On their last attempt at setting things right, she turns to the security guard outside the bank (or whatever) and gives the most awsome stare-down that you hear his breathing start to trouble like he's having a heart attack... emoticon

Ah, I just love this movie so much. I remember seeing it at the local small art-film cinema in the college town I was living in, when it first came out. All my friends loved it. Everyone was entranced, the whole way through, and it didn't matter that we didn't speak any German. I related with Lola so much; I love that character. Such a genius way to make a movie, too. I think at the time it was an original concept, wasn't it? Having different possible endings like that, I mean, and showing how each and every little tiny thing in our moent-to-moment existence has a giant effect on the ultimate outcomes in life. Plus, the sountrack kicks ass, too.

Dirty Harry, starring Clint Eastwood! emoticon
"I know what you're thinking. 'Did he fire six shots or only five? To tell you the truth, I've forgotten myself in all this...excitement. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and could blow your head clean off, you might ask yourself some questions. 'Do I feel lucky today?' Well, do ya, punk?"

Clint Eastwood makes my day. What a wonderful man, too. Amazingly gifted artist, Mr. Eastwood. Anyone seen "Million Dollar Baby?" Eastwood rules. Or the old movie "Play Misty For Me?" even aside from his Dirty Harry stuff, he is genius.

Yeah! I loved all the movies I've seen with him in them (The Gauntlet and Dirty Harry, both of which he's a vigilante cop, especially The Gauntlet). I can't wait to see the one my mom told me about, where he painted the town red.

The Legend of 1900. (Or, the Legend of the Pianist on the Ocean.) A beautiful movie, made from a beautiful book. emoticon

Still, there was one thing I missed... the word Novecento. The original title of the book, the original name of the guy... I know the point is 1900, but... but Novecento is such a beautiful word. emoticon Isn't it nicer than Nineteen Hundred?...
