Serious Banter For Those Straddling The Fence

Pick a side.
Either your care for this nation or you don't. If you care you will vote for the people of this nation instead of continuing the Bush policy of screw everyone but the very rich. If you care you will vote for the rule of law instead of the we can do what ever we want in the name of national security. If you care you will know that the war in Iraq was nothing more than a war for oil and that the real war on terrorism is in Afghanistan and Pakistan. If you care you will know that the war on terrorism is not a war against Muslim people but is a war on the extremism and criminals that commit acts of terror. If you care you will vote for a REAL policy that will get this nation off of the slavery of BIG oil and into a sustainable energy source. If you care you will understand that we need to help our education system instead of taking money out of the system then blaming hard working teachers for failure. If you care you won't be distracted by the drumbeat of prejudice and hate that wrongfully and unjustly vilifies gays, ethnics, the poor, or any other diversities.
If you hate this nation, if you have contempt for the constitution, if you feel nothing but the need of immediate gratification and the hell with everything else, you of course will vote for McCain.
Here's the rub. As McCain doles out negative ads and spews the latest talking points which is parroted by the republican propaganda ministers, Obama offers substance. Obama offers hope and challenges this nation to act in concert to solve this nations problems. Obama offers solutions that are hard but necessary to achieve what is needed to repair the damage created by Nixon, Reagan, Bush I, and "W." And for this Obama is vilifies for being African-American, skinny, popular, and accomplished speaker, for being a success. There are no REAL arguments against Obama. Lately Obama has agreed to a compromise that would insure that we get of BIG oil. The republicans are calling it a flip-flop, but in reality Obama is illustrating sound judgement good statesmanship and the ability to compromise for the good of the nation. he put is ego in his back pocket and put the nation first.
On the other hand McCain is just pandering. He will say anything that anyone in front of him wants to here. he took credit for the GI Bill even though he first voted against it then just refused to vote on it when it came back up.
McCain has sold out to BIG oil, UBS, and the most corrupt corporations in the world.
So don't straddle the fence either you love this nation and will vote for Obama or you have complete and utter contempt for this nation and will vote for McCain!

When one knows their enemy they can defend themselves. McCain is our enemy and Obama is our defense.

Got one for ya, donnie, and it makes just as much sense;

If you hate this nation, if you have contempt for the constitution, if you feel nothing but the need of immediate gratification and the hell with everything else, you of course will vote for Obama.

So, now what?

That involved God.

People have made all sorts of fun of my name and that hasn't bothered me. People can disrespect me all they like.

But, when God is involved, that's a whole 'nuther story...

I don;t recall Don doing so ck...play fair...

Aside from that, in this election, it is not a hard choice for me, I have ot go woth Obama, but normally I see the good in both or all the choices...I have to pick a few things that are very important to me, personally, and my family and go with the one that is closest to how I feel things should be...

I happen to think education and the economy/healthcare and the environment are the things I feel are important this time around and I think Obama is closer on those than McCain...
