Tutorial: How to create URL Links
I'll put this in General Info later...but it seems like some folks could use some help with creating links.
I know, back at myway, you just type "http://blahblah.com" and it lights up...unfortunately, it's a bit more complicated, but not that big a deal, once you get used to it.
let's say the URL I want to create a link for is http://xyz.com.
to create the link in quick reply (or regular reply), type:
http://xyz.com
or:
here is a link

I could always make you an admin, Paul...that way, you have to know advanced HTML and CSS.

Re: Tutorial: How to create URL Links
Or, use the little URL button jobber on the reply page.
That dark blue-lettered button that's first in line...

What, People can't copy the link and paste it into a browser? This is WAY too complicated.

Joy I've been coding dynamic web sites for years. My "day job." I taught HTML, CSS, etc. web design at a local college for a while.

that's cool, but I like it better when I can just click the link, you know?
copying and pasting it into the browser junks up the list of URLs when you're in Internet Explorer and you click the drop-down arrow on the address line?
I like to keep that clean for URLs I use alot.
perhaps I'm a nerd.
