You can add a poll to a new topic which allows people to vote.

Creating A Poll

To add a poll to a topic in the write a topic window at the bottom there is the option 'attach a poll to this topic?'. Click 'Show poll options' and the poll options will appear

You will want to enter a question or whatever is the subject of the poll in the message area and then enter the options in each of the Poll Options boxes.

Poll Options

There are several different options that will affect the poll.

Only board members can vote? ~ Checking the box means only logged in registered members on the board can vote. Unchecking will allow guests to vote aswell.

Results viewable without vouching? ~ Whether the results of the poll are viewable without voting

Results viewable after vouching? ~ Whether the results of the poll are viewable after they have voted

Max selectable items? ~ How many options in the poll can be voted for

Allow blank votes (no selected options)? ~ Whether a vote can be made without selecting any.

To vote in a poll, you must be registered as a member on Polymath.

You must first register at runboard.com. Click here to register.

It may take a few hours for your registration to be confirmed. Make sure the registration email does not end up in your Bulk Mail or Spam folder.

Once your registration has been confirmed, you must reply to a topic once to be a registered member of Polymath.

After your first reply, you will have access to vote in polls and view poll results.
