okay, and let's not post pictures of being hung by the neck, or talk about unpleasant things like abortion and war and racism, too! cause profanity is so much more icky than real death and destruction all over the world! let's just talk about sunshine, and lollipops and nice things if we are going to never say a mean old naughty word, either. wouldn't want anybody to be upset here in this okily dokily, perfectly nice world of ours! put on those rainbow shades, folks, and for christ's sake no cursing!

I guess I wasn't being specific.
Polymath in my mind is a perfect place where various people of all different backgrounds and educational levels come to discuss events and ideas...to learn, to talk. Sure, to cross swords...but you all know like I know that it's just better when we clash without descending into 3rd grade taunting and little yellow schoolbus "I know you are but what am I" inanity. it has been all this time.

JOy...I'm sorry, I tried that route...but people like Jim and LIbex make that impossible...they need firm dosages for their own medicine...
Frankly JOy, you are better off banning both of them...
Take a look at Ckirmser, him and I disagree on a plethora of issues, but for the most part, we have kept it clean...actually him and I have kept it pristine.
