Gun to be Pried from Charlton Heston's Fingers Finally, after more than two decades, a Revolutionary War musket will be pried from Charlton Heston's cold, cold hands after his death Saturday and before his funeral today. "His family was kinda divided on whether or not we should go ahead and pry it loose or not...but when the funeral director informed them the casket wouldn't close with the musket attached, there really was no further discussion..All's well that ends well, I guess."
Re: … It matters very little to me who he was affiliated with--it was his lack of skill as an actor I was talking about...now jim on the other hand...well, you may just have to tell him:
"Get your paws off my Heston, you damn dirty poster!"

… i didn't consider him a conservative as much as a dufus when it comes to gun control. and he was accessible and up front about where he stood, which i thought was cool. I can see somebody being against gun control, per se, but to align themselves with the NRA, which is basically a political arm of the GOP and the propaganda arm of the gun manufacturers, does tend to piss me off.
