Race track safety
From what I understand there is going to have to be some changes at the track next year that concerns safety. The exit may have to be changed comming off the track not only to slow down cars but to also overlap the fencing to prevent the tires, etc, flying into the pits. This means blacktopping and grading.Possibly a guard rail down the front stretch to prevent cars hitting the flag tower and running on to the horse track, AND, the poles holding the fencing around track may have to be replaced because they are rotting out in the centers. Some of them should have been replaced this year. The track should also be crack sealed from what I could see walking around it and the list can go on. Heres wishing good luck to the next board but you need your next contract signed with the fair board first.Safety should be our first concern.

Re: Race track safety
Safety should be priority #1, Not just for the fans, and pit personnel, and for the drivers. Ya the FlagStand needs more protection, And another 4-6 feet of fence on the GrandStands.. Without that, We are a Law suite waiting to happen....
