update on my hand
thumbs is about 80% saveable the thumb print part is pretty much dead. going to have first of many reconstuction surgeries on tues, they are going to take achunk of my arm and replace part of thethumb. ill keep everybody posted

Thanks Scott for the update, wow what an extensive recovery this will be for you. The 55 crew is happy that you are doing o.k. and that the hand will be functioning at full capacity.

just got home. everything went good i now have a new thumb. doctor took skin off arm made me a thumb and then took skin from my leg to cover my arm. saw it today looks a litttle wierd. kinda funny im going to have to shave my thumb. lol. if everything stays put i will have two more surgeries one to put arttery back in place. and one to move some nerves around. thanks toeverybody for the thoughts and prayers. makes thing a little better.

back from doctor everthing ishealing nicly. going to start loosening fingers up and in two weeks i get to start moving thumb.

thumb is doing good. not ready to bend it yet. in three weeks go back to doctor for check up. they made me a new splint (no more club) can move fingers with new one. still sore but getting better
