How do you go "up"?
Hi!
first time I use railmodeller seriously, designing an LGB track for a friend. However, I'm stuck in one area.
We'd like a part of the track to spiral upward, but I cannot find anything in RM to set an elevation level of some sort.
Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place for it, but the manual doesn't say anything about it either.
anyone?
thanks!
Marco

Re: How do you go "up"?
There isn't currently a layered 3D feature. You can run tracks across each other and use ⌘F to move rails forward or ⌘B to move them back. Personally, I label 2" increments of elevation with a text box so I can keep track of where the rails are supposed to be in the plan.

Re: How do you go "up"?
That's right - unfortunately there's no support for entering heights, building grades or easements yet.
This will be available with version 4 we're currently working on!

Re: How do you go "up"?
Sorry - no ETA yet.
However, it's definitely no longer 'some item on the roadmap' - we're currently working on the 4.0 release!

Re: How do you go "up"?
I just purchased the program last night and am eagerly awaiting elevations and grades. With those, the software will be the best of all the ones I have tried. Thank you for support Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

Re: How do you go "up"?
Thanks! Regarding v4: We're working on it, and it's making quite good progress.
However, I can't make any promises regarding the release date as of today - but keep watching our website!
Cheers,
